In a landmark initiative that highlights India’s growing stature in global tourism diplomacy, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC), in association with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), proudly led a strong delegation to the prestigious PATA Travel Mart 2025.

Held in Bangkok, the event marked more than just a showcase of destinations—it symbolized a powerful commitment to deepening cross-cultural understanding. As travel rebounds, this collaborative effort stands as a beacon for international partnerships grounded in heritage and shared prosperity.

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Travel Mart is among the most influential annual travel events in the Asia-Pacific region. Against this dynamic backdrop, the joint participation of IRCTC and MEA reflected India’s commitment to advancing regional tourism cooperation.

Adding to the significance was the inauguration of the vibrant ASEAN–India Pavilion by Ambassador Nagesh Singh. His presence underscored the diplomatic weight behind this tourism initiative.
